Overview:

A well-established residential property management firm is seeking an experienced Assistant Property Manager to support operations at a large 252-unit townhome complex. This role offers the opportunity to work alongside a seasoned Property Manager and contribute to the smooth functioning of a high-volume property.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with tenants and prospective residents.
  • Conduct property tours and manage leasing activities, including application review and approval.
  • Handle rent collection, payment processing, and bank deposits.
  • Assist with move-ins, move-outs, and unit turnovers.
  • Prepare weekly and monthly operational reports.
  • Collaborate with the Property Manager on resident transitions and process improvements.
  • Support administrative tasks related to leasing and property oversight.

Qualifications:

  • Prior experience in property management or leasing is required.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a customer-focused approach.
  • Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and administrative capabilities.
  • Comfortable with financial tasks such as rent tracking and reporting.
  • Proficient in MS Windows, Word, Outlook, and general computer systems.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Valid driver's license preferred.

Position Title: Assistant Property Manager
Location: Eagan, MN
Type: Direct Hire
Schedule: Monday-Thursday, 9:00 AM-6:00 PM; Friday, 9:00 AM-5:00 PM
Pay Range: $22-$24/hr (potentially up to $26/hr for highly qualified candidates)
